Sandusky Public Library The mechanical systems design was approached with care to provide the appropriate balance between environmental comfort, energy efficiency and cost. The final design has operated through a heating and cooling season comfortably and efficiently, while maintaining maximum ceiling heights for the large open areas with the existing building. The lighting design challenge was to unify the several independent structures and provide appropriate illumination levels. Consistent application of high efficiency linear fluorescent lamps as well as compact fluorescent lamp technologies allows excellent color rendition, and superior energy efficiency. |
