First Presbyterian Church is a historic 150-year-old church that was in dire need of updating. The existing alabaster glass chandeliers were the only source of illumination in the Sanctuary. The lighting designers at Tec went to work preparing specifications to recraft the chandeliers, and to provide an improved illumination source. The chandeliers were removed, crated and shipped to a local Cleveland artisan to be completely reconditioned. They were retro-fitted with six 25 watt self ballasted biaxial fluorescent lamps providing a soft even illumination of the natural alabaster glass. The external ring on the chandeliers were lamped with decorative G30 fluorescent lamps.
