Morley Public Library, Also included is a state-of-the-art technology system featuring a fiber-optic backbone connecting each floor and utilizing the latest cabling and networking standards, compartmentalized per floor, throughout the building. Significant wireless technology capability has been provided in the building. The mechanical system design is environmentally friendly. The chilled water system utilizes a lower chilled water temperature and greater temperature drop in the system to reduce the air handlers, pumps, piping and ductwork sizes, while maintaining comfort. This approach translates into reduced operating and maintenance costs, as well as a significant savings in initial construction cost. This is one of the first systems of its kind designed for a public library application. |
